The Australian Wedding Awards are conducted yearly with a culmination of Registered WINNERS from the current year of Wedding Industry Awards who automatically becoming FINALISTS, from over Thirty (30) Wedding Regions across Australia.

When do Registrations Open?

In late October, Early November of each Year, Registered WINNERS of Wedding Industry Awards across the 30 odd Regions of Australia will receive emails confirming that they are FINALISTS in the current year’s Australian Wedding Awards.

They will be invited to participate in the Australian Wedding Awards and receive a Generic FINALIST Digital Roundel to assist their business to promote as a FINALIST in the Australian Wedding Awards.

The invitation we be seeking WINNERS support firstly to join the Australian Wedding Awards and accepting the invitation to participate in the Australian Wedding Awards being held in the January of each Year.

Once a Business accepts the Invitation to be part of the Australian Wedding Awards, this gives permission for the organisers to initiate a 35 Point Internet Presence and Customer Serviceability AUDIT of the Wedding Business.

The participating Business needs to purchase a Single Ticket for each Category they are a FINALIST, so for example’s sake a Business is in three (3) Categories they need to purchase three (3) Tickets. This also means that you have three (3) places at the Gala Dinner of the Australian Wedding Awards. 

If a Business opts to not participate in the Australian Wedding Awards, then they remain a FINALIST and no further action and acknowledgement will take place.

 There is no Voting required for the Australian Wedding Awards, totally based on the 35 Point Internet Presence and Customer Serviceability AUDIT.

When do Nominations Close?

Once a Business accepts the invitation and purchases ticket for each Category that they are a FINALIST there is no further action required by the Business, until the Gala Dinner.

From the time that a Business is acknowledged via email to being a FINALIST they have ten (10) days to Register / Purchase Tickets, so that the 35 Point Internet Presence and Customer Serviceability AUDIT can be scheduled.

Process

What is the Judging Process?

Once a FINALIST Business accepts the invitation to be part of the Australian Wedding Awards in their selected Categories, we initiate the 35 Point Internet Presence and Customer Serviceability AUDIT.

The 35 Point Internet Presence and Customer Serviceability AUDIT, consists broadly of:

  1. Review of Social Media Presence and Structure for both FaceBook & Instagram.
  2. Review of Website, its functionality and Google presence.
  3. Email Structure and Timeline for reply
  4. Phone Message Service.
  5. Use of Wedding Industry Awards and Australian Wedding Award Branding.

At the conclusion of the Australian Wedding Awards businesses can request a copy of their individual Audit result to enhance and reinforce the future performance in the eyes of Newly Engaged Couples of their business and exceed their expectations.

The WINNERS and Recipients are announced at the prestigious Australian Wedding Awards – Black Tie, Red Carpet, Gala Presentation & Networking Evening conducted in Mid-January of the new year for the preceding year…

Are only Winners announced?

WINNERS for each Category specific to the FINALISTS in attendance (Not all Categories maybe in attendance).

There is also an Award for #2 Highly Commended (Runner UP).

  • Where there are 10 Plus Finalists there will be a TOP5
  • Where there are 20 Plus Finalists there will be a TOP10

NO Business will walk away empty handed. Those Business that does not make the CUT still receive Personalised DISTINGUISHED FINALIST Digital Roundel + Acrylic Plaque.
